How Our Payment Plans Work 

Our Payment Plans make it easier to manage your college expenses by breaking your tuition and fees into smaller, manageable payments. You can choose to pay:
  • Monthly: Payments due on the 1st of each month
  • Semi-monthly: Payments due on the 1st and 15th of each month

How to Enroll in a Payment Plan 

  1. Log into my.CarlAlbert.edu
  2. Click on “Student Finance”
    – This will redirect you to our Transact/Cashnet payment portal

  3. Scroll to the middle of the page and click “View Payment Plan Options”

  4. Choose your preferred plan:
    Monthly (payments on the 1st)
    Semi-monthly (payments on the 1st and 15th)

  5. Enter your plan amount and review the plan details

  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete enrollment
    – A $25 non-refundable sign-up fee will be charged at the time of enrollment

How to Invite a Payer (Parent, Guardian, or Relative)

  • Log into my.CarlAlbert.edu
  • Click on “Student Finance”
    – This will redirect you to the Transact/Cashnet portal

  • On the left menu, click “My Account”

  • Scroll to the “Payers” section

  • Click “Send a Payer Invitation”
    – Enter the payer’s email address
    – The invited payer will receive an email with instructions to access your account

Authorized Payers & Guests:

If you would like a family member to assist with the paying of your tuition and fees you have two options:

Authorized Payers: You may invite family members to become Authorized Payers.  Authorized Payers will have their own username and password, which will allow them to see your entire account and current balances, as well as the ability to store a preferred payment method.   To add an Authorized Payer, from the home page of the Transact payment portal:

  1. Go to “My Account”
  2. Scroll down to “Payer” section
  3. Click “Send Payer Invitation”
  4. Enter the person’s name and email address and submit

The system will send the recipient an invitation and temporary password to set up their own account. They will have their own username password and will be able to view and pay all account balances.

Guests:  Anyone can make a payment to your account as a Guest using only your Student ID number and your last name.  Guests will not see your account balances – they will only see the “Available Items” list.   If they want to make a tuition payment, they should select “Account Balance – Prepay” and enter the amount they would like to pay.
