GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

 Carl Albert State College is accepting applications for a Physical Plant Utility Worker for the Poteau campus.  This position is responsible for the general maintenance of facilities, grounds and motor pool vehicles which include, but is not limited to:

• Lock and Unlock assigned buildings
• Assist with setup of facilities
• Perform minor repairs
• Maintain College streets, parking areas and grounds
• Vehicle Fleet maintenance

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum requirements:  High School Diploma or Equivalent; Knowledge or ability to learn standard facility methods and equipment; Must be able to lift and push/pull 50lbs.; able to bend, walk, stand, reach and kneel.  Must have a valid Driver’s License.

SALARY:
$ 21,500 annually, plus a full benefit package (employer-paid health, dental, and life insurance, retirement, and paid sick/vacation leave)
