GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Carl Albert State College is accepting applications for a full-time Human Resources Representative on the Poteau campus. This position provides administrative support to the HR Director in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for all college employees, to include, but not limited to:

• Approve, record and reconcile all Leave Requests
• Coordinate recruitment and interview processes:  data entry of applications, background checks, preparation of interviews, etc.
• Onboarding of new employees
• Maintain personnel files
• Assist in the updating and maintaining of job descriptions
• Assist the HR Director as needed
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor Degree required/Master’s Degree preferred; Experience in Human Resources may be considered in lieu of degree. Requires effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and computer literacy. Exhibit a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality at all times. Education and/or experience in Human Resources preferred.

SALARY:

Commensurate with education and experience.  Includes a full benefit package which includes Employer paid Medical, Dental, Life, Long-term Disability, Oklahoma Teachers Retirement, Vacation and Sick days.
