Graduate Assistant – Marketing and Communications Location: Carl Albert State College / Northeastern State University, Tahlequah, OK Position Type: 2-Year Graduate Assistantship Start Date: August 2025 Carl Albert State College, in collaboration with Northeastern State University, is seeking qualified candidates for a Graduate Assistant position within the Office of Marketing and Communications. This is a two-year appointment designed for individuals pursuing graduate studies at NSU while gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing, communications, and brand management at Carl Albert State College. Responsibilities: The Graduate Assistant will support the Director of Marketing and Communications in a variety of areas, including but not limited to:  Assisting with day-to-day social media management, including scheduling, posting, and engaging with audiences across platforms.  Assisting with the creation of digital and print content, including graphic design and copywriting.  Assisting with the management and promotion of Athletics social media accounts and content.  Assisting with the organization and maintenance of digital assets, including photos, videos, and brand files.  Assisting with basic administrative tasks, such as coordinating requests, maintaining calendars, and supporting project workflows.  Assisting with gathering data and preparing analytics reports to evaluate the performance of marketing and social media efforts.  Assisting with the implementation of WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) processes to help ensure accessible and compliant digital communications.  Performing other duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing and Communications. Compensation: (20-hour work week)  Full tuition waiver for graduate studies at Northeastern State University  Semester stipend ($3,000.00 per semester)  On-campus room and board at Carl Albert State College (Housing availability is limited; family and married housing is unavailable. Couples accepted into the GA program may share accommodations.) Qualifications:  Bachelor’s Degree (required)  Admission into a graduate program at Northeastern State University by August 2025
 Basic knowledge of social media platforms and trends  Familiarity with graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite or Canva preferred)  Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills  Attention to detail and a willingness to learn new tools and processes  Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed Interested applicants should prepare a résumé, cover letter, and list of references and submit them to employment@carlalbert.edu.
