POSITION:
Admissions Specialist
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Carl Albert State College has an opening for an Admissions Specialist. This is a full-time position on the Poteau campus.
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Assist Admissions Specialists with processing of all Applications for Admissions
- Direct traffic flow of students into the office
- Process incoming and outgoing transcript requests
- Input and update student records
- Verify enrollment and good standing
- First responder to all incoming telephone calls and fax communications
- General office duties
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a friendly, tactful, and helpful manner. Excellent telephone skills and pleasant telephone voice; familiar with MS Office products and CRM Recruit system. Previous experience in Higher Education preferred.

SALARY:
$ 25,000 – Associates Degree; $ 33,000 Bachelor’s Degree. Full Benefit Package and a generous paid Leave package are included.
