Carl Albert State College (CASC) welcomed alumnus and local CPA Nick Wann back to campus on Wednesday, Nov. 13. Wann spoke to 46 business administration students about his journey from CASC to completing undergraduate and graduate studies, passing the rigorous CPA exam, and building a successful career in accounting.
During the visit, Wann provided invaluable insights into the accounting profession, sharing real-world experiences from working with clients, colleagues, and the public. His engaging presentation sparked lively discussion, with students enthusiastically participating in a Q&A session that extended well beyond the allotted time.
Wann, who visits CASC annually, emphasized the importance of giving back to the next generation of business leaders. “It’s always an honor to return to CASC and connect with students who are following similar paths,” he said.
