CARL ALBERT STATE COLLEGE HOSTS SUCCESSFUL SCHOLASTIC MEET: RECOGNIZES ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE ACROSS 24 SCHOOLS

[Poteau, OK] – Carl Albert State College (CASC) proudly announces the resounding success of its recent Scholastic Meet, showcasing academic prowess and celebrating excellence among students from across the region. With 24 schools in attendance, the event served as a platform for intellectual engagement and friendly competition.

The Scholastic Meet featured a comprehensive range of academic challenges, with participants vying for top honors across 28 tests spanning three divisions. Each test offered students the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in various subjects, including but not limited to mathematics, science, literature, and history.

“We are thrilled to see such tremendous enthusiasm and dedication among the students who participated in this year’s Scholastic Meet,” said Michaela Thompson, event organizer and Recruiter at Carl Albert State College. “The event not only highlights the academic achievements of our youth but also fosters a spirit of camaraderie and intellectual growth.”

Following rigorous competition, winners from each division were awarded 1st through 3rd place medals, recognizing their outstanding performance in individual tests. Additionally, each division crowned an overall winner, who received a prestigious plaque in recognition of their exceptional achievement and dedication to academic excellence.

“The Scholastic Meet not only serves as a testament to the academic caliber of students within our community but also underscores Carl Albert State College’s commitment to nurturing and promoting educational excellence,” said President Jay Falkner.
