Poteau, OK | March 14, 2024 – Carl Albert State College proudly announces that a large number of its wrestlers have been recognized as Scholar All-Americans by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA). The NWCA recently announced the recipients of the 2024 NJCAA Men’s and Women’s Scholar All-America awards, honoring student-athletes who have demonstrated excellence in both academics and athletics.
A total of 88 scholar-athletes from 12 institutions nationwide have been selected for this prestigious recognition. Carl Albert State College stands among these esteemed institutions, with its wrestlers showcasing their dedication and commitment to excellence both on and off the mat.
NWCA Executive Director, Mike Moyer, commended these outstanding athletes for their remarkable achievements, highlighting their relentless pursuit of success in academics and athletics. Moyer expressed his admiration, stating, “It’s an honor to recognize these remarkable athletes for their outstanding achievements. Congratulations to all the honorees, and we wish them continued success in their academic and athletic pursuits.”
