Federal TRiO Programs

The Federal TRIO Programs (TRIO) are a set of federal initiatives and student support services created to identify and offer assistance to individuals coming from disadvantaged backgrounds. TRIO encompasses eight distinct programs with a focus on aiding low-income individuals, first-generation college students, and those with disabilities in navigating the educational journey, spanning from middle school to postbaccalaureate programs. Additionally, TRIO features a training program designed for the directors and staff members involved in TRIO projects.

Power I

The Power I Program offers employers a chance to know their employees before they hire them through the Power I internship program.

Power I continues to provide support to you and the employee even after job placement. The program provides employers with a record of the student’s attendance and reliability history. The program can assist employers in gaining tax incentives for hiring qualified applicants.

Native American Serving Non-Tribal Institutions (NASNTI)

The Native American Serving Non-Tribal Institutions (NASNTI) STEM Grant is a federally funded program designed to create three new STEM Programs, Strengthen Math Support, and Strengthen STEM Support for CASC students. Services include free tutorial assistance in intermediate algebra and college algebra, work-force seminars, career assistance through job-board access.

The services are free to eligible students. Funded by the U.S. Department of Education: $1,499,768.
