CASC STUDENT RECEIVES BRANTON “BUDDY” RAMSEY MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Cade Armer, computer science major from Muldrow, was recognized at the Muldrow High School Awards Assembly on May 11 as the first recipient of the Branton “Buddy” Ramsey Memorial Scholarship at Carl Albert State College. James and Donna Niedergeses Davis established this scholarship to honor the memory of their late son. Branton was known for his love of computers and gaming. Branton’s nickname was “Buddy” because he was a friend to all.  Branton received his Associate of Arts degree in Computer Information Systems at CASC and then transferred to Northeastern State University to graduate with a Bachelor of Computer Science degree. Branton was a valued member of the Carl Albert State College family and served as the Learning Technology Administrator. Through this scholarship, the memory of

Branton will continue by empowering students to achieve their educational goals. This scholarship is awarded to a student who is pursuing a degree in computer science or is a member of the CASC Esports Program.
