Scholarships

Carl Albert State College offers over 150 different scholarships every year to students who have shown academic excellence, leadership qualities, and/or financial need. Some recipients may need to maintain minimum enrollment and/or GPA standards for certain awards.

Funds are provided by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education (OSRHE), Carl Albert State College (CASC), and the CASC Development Foundation (The Foundation), which accepts contributions from individual and organizational donors wishing to help fund student education.

Before You Apply

  1. Complete the CASC Admissions Application and select “Yes” to the scholarship application question.
  2. Be prepared to upload appropriate documentation before the established scholarship priority deadline.

    a. All students
        i. Any applicable scholarship essay requirement.

    b. First-time Freshman
        i. Official High School Transcript showing completed 12th -grade coursework.
           (If applying early, unofficial 11-grade coursework can be submitted until official 12th-grade is complete and available.)

    c. Transfer Students
        i. Transcripts from any previously attended colleges.
        ii. ACT Scores

This application is open to eastern Oklahoma area High School Juniors and Seniors attending CASC.

Available for Fall and Spring semesters only.

Things to keep in mind:

  • Funding is limited and is not guaranteed each term.
  • This application must be completed for each term requesting aid.
  • If external scholarship funds pay your account completely (GEAR UP, etc.), you may not qualify for this scholarship.

This application is open to all CASC students and considers them for a wide range of scholarships provided by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education (OSRHE), Carl Albert State College (CASC), and the CASC Development Foundation (The Foundation).

Various scholarships are available each semester for first-time students and continuing/returning students.

Things to keep in mind:

  • Some scholarships require follow-up with The Foundation before the award can be paid (i.e. active acceptance, donor thank you letter, etc.).
  • Some scholarships require a minimum enrollment completion and/or GPA to renew it for the next term or year.
  • Some scholarships are a one-time award, meaning it will only apply to the Fall semester and cannot be renewed for the Spring.
