CARL ALBERT STATE COLLEGE ANNOUNCES 2026 COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY

POTEAU, OK — Carl Albert State College (CASC) will celebrate the achievements of its graduates during its 2026 Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 9, in the Hamilton Auditorium on the CASC Poteau campus.

To accommodate graduates and their families, two ceremonies will be held:

  • 11:00 a.m. Ceremony – Associate of Arts degrees and certificates
  • 1:00 p.m. Ceremony – Associate of Science and Associate of Applied Science degrees

Graduates are required to attend the ceremony designated for their specific degree program.

The 11:00 a.m. ceremony will recognize students earning Associate of Arts degrees in areas including Business Administration, Child Development, Computer Information Systems, Criminal Justice, Enterprise Development, General Studies, Health, Physical Education & Recreation, History, Political Science, Pre-Law, Pre-Elementary Education, and Sociology/Psychology. Certificates awarded during this ceremony include Child Development, Child Development Director’s Certificate, Child Development Infant Toddler, Organizational Leadership, Physical Therapist Aide, and Social Services Assistant.

The 1:00 p.m. ceremony will honor students earning Associate of Science and Associate of Applied Science degrees in programs such as Allied Health, Applied Technology, Biological and Pre-Professional Science, Cybersecurity, Digital Media Technology, Enterprise Development, Environmental Science Technology, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Pre-Engineering, Nursing, Occupational Health and Safety, and Physical Therapist Assistant.
