Financial Aid Counselor I / Loan Coordinator
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Financial Aid Counselor I/Loan Coordinator is a full-timeposition based at the Poteau campus. This position is responsible for counseling current and prospective students on the opportunities, application, responsibilities associated with, and the verification process for receiving financial aid, as well as, oversee and offer federal student loans under the direction of the Financial Aid Director.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates Degree required, previous Financial Aid experience preferred. General office skills: computer proficiency; effective oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of record keeping, accounting, tolerance for a stressful environment and the ability to reason and apply logic to solve problems. Google Suite/Microsoft Office knowledge.

SALARY:
$25,000 annually with a full Benefit Package, which consists of Employer Paid Medical, Dental, Life, Long-term Disability and Oklahoma Teachers Retirement. Successful candidate will also receive approximately 70 paid days off per year due to Holiday Breaks and Paid Leave time.
