POSITION:
Director of Enrollment and Advisement

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Carl Albert State College has an opening for Director of Enrollment and Advisement. This is a full-time, 12-month position at the Poteau campus. This position is responsible for overseeing the advisement, enrollment and retention processes of students in order to maximize the enrollment/graduation potential.

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

Oversee the advising process and Academic Advisors
Serve as an Academic Advisor for all majors
Assist in organizing and managing Enrollment Sessions and individual student enrollment
Coordinate Freshman Orientation instruction
Maintain records for advisees and monitor their student records
Work directly with Financial Aid, Business Office, Admissions and Academic Affairs

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree required. Must be able to organize and maintain accurate student records. Working knowledge of higher education, advising and enrollment processes preferred. Working knowledge of MS Office software. Must possess the ability to work with a diverse population. Excellent written and oral communication skills needed.

SALARY: $ 38,000 annually with a full benefit package. Benefit package includes the following: Employer paid Medical, Dental, Life, Long-term Disability and Oklahoma Teachers Retirement. CASC offers a very generous Leave package in addition to Holiday Breaks.
