How Our Payment Plans Work 

Payment Plans allow you to pay your tuition and fees overtime, in smaller amounts, monthly or semi-monthly. Payments are due on the 1st (for monthly payment plans) and the 1st and the 15th (for semi-monthly payment plans).
  • Avoid the high-interest rates that come with a traditional loan, with just one low fee of $25 at the time of enrollment.
  • Set up a plan to cover your entire bill, or just the balance left after financial aid
  • Invite a parent or relative to contribute to your plan
  • Simple enrollment process, right within your student portal
  • Convenient electronic payments – just set it and forget it!
  • 24/7 online account access to review payments and balances

How to Enroll in a Payment Plan 

  1. Log into myCarlAlbert.edu
  2. Click on “Student Finance”; you will be redirected to our Transact Cashnet page
  3. Scroll to the middle of the page to Payment Plans and click “View Payment Plan Options”
  4. Here, you will be able to select your payment plan (monthly or semi-monthly plans), your plan amount and you will be given your plan details.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete enrollment. Keep in mind, there will be a $25 sign up fee paid at the time of enrollment

To Invite a Payer to Help with Tuition and/or Fees

  • Log into myCarlAlbert.edu
  • Click on “Student Finance”; you will be redirected to our Transact Cashnet page
  • On the left side of the screen, click on “My Account”
  • Scroll down to “Payers” and “Send a Payer Invitation”, you will have to provide the payers’ email address
  • This will give the payer access to your balance only, where they can pay on the student account

Authorized Payers & Guests:

If you would like a family member to assist with the paying of your tuition and fees you have two options:

Authorized Payers: You may invite family members to become Authorized Payers.  Authorized Payers will have their own username and password, which will allow them to see your entire account and current balances, as well as the ability to store a preferred payment method.   To add an Authorized Payer, from the home page of the Transact payment portal:

  1. Go to “My Account”
  2. Scroll down to “Payer” section
  3. Click “Send Payer Invitation”
  4. Enter the person’s name and email address and submit

The system will send the recipient an invitation and temporary password to set up their own account. They will have their own username password and will be able to view and pay all account balances.

Guests:  Anyone can make a payment to your account as a Guest using only your Student ID number and your last name.  Guests will not see your account balances – they will only see the “Available Items” list.   If they want to make a tuition payment, they should select “Account Balance – Prepay” and enter the amount they would like to pay.
