THREE CARL ALBERT STATE COLLEGE EMPLOYEES HONORED WITH STATEWIDE AWARDS AT OACC CONFERENCE

Carl Albert State College proudly celebrates three members of the Viking family who were recognized for excellence at the recent Oklahoma Association of Community Colleges (OACC) Conference.

Caleb Dolan, Director of Recruitment, received the Outstanding Professional Award. A proud CASC alumnus, Dolan has served the College since 2019, leading recruitment efforts and co-coordinating the CASC Scholars Program. His commitment to empowering students and advancing the College’s mission continues to make a lasting impact on the Viking community.

Rhonda Few, Early Childhood Education instructor, earned the Outstanding Faculty Award. With more than 30 years of experience in early childhood education, Few has dedicated her career to supporting children, families, and educators. Her work with the Choctaw Nation and passion for social-emotional learning through Conscious Discipline have inspired countless students and colleagues alike.

Jamie Frederick, Business Office professional, was named Outstanding Support Staff. A CASC Business Administration alumna, Frederick has served the College for five years and now celebrates her own child attending as a CASC Scholar. She expressed her gratitude, saying, “CASC means a lot to our family, and we feel blessed to be a part of what this campus is doing to change lives for the better.”

“We are immensely proud of our award recipients for their dedication, innovation, and professionalism,” said CASC President Dr. Jay Falkner. “Their achievements reflect the outstanding caliber of education and support our students receive and highlight our commitment to continuous improvement in all areas.”

These awards affirm Carl Albert State College’s standing as a statewide leader in community college excellence—setting the standard for teaching, student support, and professional development across Oklahoma.
