CARL ALBERT STATE COLLEGE PARTNERS WITH EASTERN OKLAHOMA MEDICAL CENTER TO OFFER TELEMEDICINE SERVICES FOR STUDENTS

Poteau, OK – August 18, 2025 — Carl Albert State College (CASC) is proud to announce a new partnership with Eastern Oklahoma Medical Center (EOMC) to expand student wellness offerings through convenient, on-campus telemedicine services. This initiative reflects the college’s continued commitment to fostering a healthy, supportive environment where students can thrive both academically and personally.

Through this collaboration, CASC now offers telemed services for acute illnesses at both the Poteau and Sallisaw campuses. These services are designed to provide timely, confidential, and compassionate care for students dealing with non-chronic medical concerns.

“Our partnership with EOMC represents a new era of student wellness—where care, comfort, and community come together under one roof,” said Becky Sanders, CASC Director of Nursing Education. “By providing accessible and professional medical support on campus, we are removing barriers to healthcare and supporting the success of every Viking.”

  • Poteau Campus: Located in Room HS703. Students should check in at the nursing reception area and will be brought back to the exam room.

  • Sallisaw Campus: Conveniently located directly across from the main reception area.
