POTEAU, OKLA. –– Students at Carl Albert State College were recently treated to an inspiring visit from Lauren Frost, Miss Oklahoma 2024, who shared her powerful story, personal journey, and vision for a brighter future rooted in compassion, advocacy, and purpose.
A proud graduate of Northeastern State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a minor in Marketing, Frost brings a dynamic background to her role as Miss Oklahoma. She currently serves on the executive team at the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and is also a Certified Clogging Instructor and Choreographer. Her professional path includes valuable years as an Educational Consultant, further deepening her connection to youth and education.
Frost spoke to students about her life experiences, career journey, and participation in the Miss Oklahoma organization, emphasizing the importance of goal setting, self-advocacy, soft skill development, and planning for a bright future.
Central to her message was her deeply personal and impactful platform: “Adoption as Oklahoma’s Option.” As an adoption advocate, Frost uses her story to spread a message of love and belonging, working closely with adoption organizations throughout the state. Her platform’s guiding belief—“There are no unwanted children, just unfound families”—serves as the cornerstone of her statewide outreach.
“We were honored to welcome Miss Oklahoma to our campus,” said CASC President Jay Falkner. “Her message resonated deeply with our students and reminded us all of the power of resilience, service, and purposeful living.”
As Miss Oklahoma 2024, Frost will continue to travel across Oklahoma, sharing her story and advocating for children and families, with a legacy rooted in hope and the transformative power of love.
