Dwight Spencer

Dwight Spencer was appointed to the Carl Albert State College Board of Regents by Governor Mary Fallin on April 20, 2016, and then confirmed by the Oklahoma State Senate in May, 2016.

Regent Spencer succeeds the late Jerry Hetherington, and will fill the unexpired term that ends July 1, 2019.

Regent Spencer is the General Manager/Owner of Blue Ribbon Auto Group in Sallisaw. In addition to his support of CASC, Spencer is active in the Sallisaw community including current chairman of the Diamond Daze Festival Entertainment Committee, and a Title Sponsor for the Sallisaw Lions Club RAM Rodeo. In 2011 he was named the Outstanding Festival Volunteer, is a past president of the Sallisaw Chamber of Commerce, and in 2009 was named the Sallisaw Chamber Member of the Year.  His education background includes a bachelor of science in business administration from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
