Carl Albert State College’s Virtual Scavenger Hunt Winners Announced

Four students each won a $125 gift certificate to the Carl Albert Bookstore for winning the Virtual Scavenger Hunts held recently at Carl Albert State College. A grant through CashCourse made the events possible, and programs funded by the grant are intended to educate students about financial responsibility.

In addition to the scavenger hunts, other ways are being used to inform students about the importance of financial responsibility. The Enrollment Center has created a student loan financial awareness video that can be viewed by going to carlalbert.edu and then clicking on the word “Videos” at the top of the homepage.

Jennifer Humphreys, Enrollment and Retention Specialist, announced the winners in the first scavenger hunt were Logan Sloan from Pocola and Lindsey Merrill from Sallisaw.   The second hunt winners were Erin Hearn of Red Oak and Aubrey Mullins from Poteau.   Humphreys is pictured presenting Mullins’ gift Certificate.
